>Netflix continues to be our go to streamer. I have particularly become a fan >of their “Nordic Noir” series, but also a lot of their other non-American >stuff. Plus they have filled a need in our house by providing access to a >number of US and Canadian tv shows. I have 5 independent users of my Netflix >account and it became so common for someone to text our group chat with: “can >someone get off Netflix!” That my oldest daughter a couple of months ago paid >the cost of upgrading to 4 simultaneous users. I subscribe to the Huluplex at cost and HBO Max free with HBO cable subscription, which gets me most of what I need - though if anybody has a spare Netflix slot, I wouldn't say "no" if invited. (For some reason, Suddenlink lets me have the skinny cable lineup - affiliates, some subchannels, shopping networks - and HBO. I won't question it.) Our county library system is good about having boxsets from Britbox and Acorn (just finished S2 of Lucy Lawless' "My Life Is Murder") as well as other network or cable shows that I may want to catch up on, and I will lean on my brother's Sling account for the three episodes of "Doctor Who" that BBC America will air this year. I'm wavering on signing up for Peacock. I'm guessing the "Free" option will just get me access to the NBCU archives and not any of the new/international stuff.... _ _ |_>|_> Brad Beam- Belle WV |_>|_> http://www.facebook.com/74bmw -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
