I live in an NL city and I liked the strategy around deciding whether to let a pitcher bat or put in a pinch hitter and call for a reliever. In the last couple of seasons I’ve seen the game slow down so much that it’s hard to sit through and if a DH can speed things up a bit I’m for it.
It also happens that a DH is universal in baseball except for the NL and AAA and AA games when both teams are NL affiliates.
