We can assume that if "Have I Got News for You" was going to start a new series last week, it was called off.
And here in the states, on a 1980 episode of "Whew!" on BUZZR this morning, two "bloopers" about the Royals perhaps went by most contemporary viewers (as few as they probably are) unnoticed: In the front game, "At the age of 25 Princess Elizabeth became frumpy" (the correct answer being Queen, of course) and in the end game, "Queen Elizabeth's husband Prince Phillip is also the Prince Daddy" (Consort? Prince of Wales was buzzed and the character generator that showed the correct answers in the end game was broken--Tom Kennedy said that viewers could send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the producers if they wanted the correct answers).
