Shelley Smith started out as a model, began acting in the 
brilliant-but-cancelled 1979 ABC sitcom "The Associates" and kept a 
steady-if-not-spectacular acting career into the 90s, although more people 
may've known her better as the celebrity partner a contestant hoped they 
would get on "Pyramid" and other shows--in later years, she became a 
therapist and launched a program to donate eggs to infertile couples--she 
passed last week after experiencing cardiac arrest and going into a coma:
