"Wolfs," Apple's actioner starring George Clooney and Brad PItt, was to have had a wide theatrical opening distributed by Sony on Aug. 27, but noting that Apple's previous wide theatrical releases have not done well at the box office (with the possible exception of the first, Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon"), instead will do a limited Oscar qualifying run on Aug. 20 before dropping it on its eventual home, AppleTV+, on Aug. 27:
