Llodge, You can determine whether the problem is in the arm (or H-H if you have that) by reversing the wires at the back of your set that go to the dish mover. If the dish is then slow in the opposite direction, the problem is at your set. If there is no change, the problem is with the dish mover (arm).
I know, you are probably saying, "Darn, that's so simple. Why didn't I think of that?". (If all else fails, your sense of humor will pull you through). OK. Idiot time again. Recently we had a storm which landed a bolt not too far from my home. Ever since then my BUD has moved normally from east to west. However when I move the dish from west to east it takes about four times as long. I would say it goes one degree at a time, but the purists would say it ALWAYS does that. :) I can go from the former T6 to T5 in about five seconds. When I do the reverse, it can take as long as a minute. Any advice other than to be patient? :) Thanks! ------------------------ Yahoo!
