satellite, but it happens on all sats, C or Ku.
> We watch a lot of HBO
on G1 and quality is around 50. Sometimes it degrades to 35 or so and begins to
tile and I can adjust it back to 50 and be ok.
> On C3, the Military
Channel, Q is 98 and I still get fluttering and tiling. On G9, the same thing.
I also checked Ku on X4, Game Show Network, and Q is 58 and tiling. It seems to
be affecting all digital signals.
> My dish is a 7.5' and I am located
in Texas. As far as how this happened, it has been a gradual thing, but
initially it was only on G9. Now it has progressed to all digital.!
I used to be able to adjust it out, but not any more and when it gets bad
enough, I lose my subscription.
> The consensus seems to be dish
adjustment. I will get up on the roof and do some work on it.
> I
appreciate the help, everyone.
>
> David
>
>

RE: [TVRO] 4DTV
>
> On what stations do you see a problem?
Also, signal stebgth is meaningless,
> quality is the only number that
should be looked at. If Q is below 60
> forget it. Check your focal
distance and alignment. What size dish?
>
> Art
> <br

Subject: [TVRO] 4DTV
>
> BlankI'm having trouble with my 4DTV.
My digital reception is breaking down
> ... lots of tiling off and on.
It is losing the subscription, too.
> My signal strength is good. I
thought some tree limbs were giving me a
> problem, but I trimmed and
still tiling. My analog reception is ok so I
> assume some problem with
the receiver. I have checked my inside connections
> and they all
appear ok. I haven't checked the outside connections (my dish
> is on a
pole so it's difficult), but I don't think it's a dish problem or my
>
analog would be screwed up. Right?
> Any ideas on what my problem might
be?
>
> Thanks, David M.
>
> [Non-text
