If this is a new receiver, check the firmware.  You need to have EC not AE.
The symptoms you describe were fixed by the firmware upgrade.  You will have
to send it to ATS for repair.

Actually, if you're seeing a Quality of 90+ and 
are still having problems, then there's something 
else afoot besides dish alignment, I'm sorry to 
say. At that point I'd suspect the 4DTV unit is 
malfunctioning, but I don'tknow what you'd do 
about it other than send it in.  Well, if you can 
lay your hands on another 4DTV unit and plug it 
into your system, that would pretty much tell the 
tale, but I know that's not always an easy thing 
to do.
