Lynsat.com will get you started. But I have found that they are not as
'accurate' as they should be with the channels. What I do now is find the name
of the satellite I want information on and Google that Satellite for more
information. (MPEG is has been great!) Using a 10' fiberglass dish, with 4DTV,
and a Pansat 7000.

I put up my first big dish in 1981. Moved so I had to take it down
and store it. Finally moved to a location where I can now buy/install
a new C-band system. One of the joys with the old system was
searching the various sats/transponders for SCPC. As I have been out
of that area for so long, here are the questions:
1. What subcarrier modes are in use today and are they able to be
received by us common folk?
2. Does a good source exist as to listings for what subcarrier
services are on what sats/transponders?
3. Equipment recommendations?

I DID do a search for 'scpc' in the group but could only find messages
from years ago.
Thank you very much.
