Suraj, It is possible to have a intel pc running OS X. But the catch is that you have to have the compatible hardware. It's called Hackintosh by the hacking community.

So, you save about 50% but you are on your own when things go wrong. I would not advise going this route unless you know what you are doing or you have too much a change to spare.
