Hi all:

Found an interesting article titled "The Rise and Fall of CORBA".

Summary
. Technical excellence is not a sufficient prerequisite for success but,
in the long term, it is a necessary prerequisite.

. Open source innovation usually is subject to a Darwinian selection process.

. To create quality software, the ability to say “no” is
usually far more important than the ability to say “yes.”

. Poor Architectural choices and Interface design reflects in API's
which are overly complex. Complexity kills !

. Cooptition works in the industry.
