Hi all:

I am looking for 4MB - 16MB NVRAM (perhaps addon card with battery)
that can be used a cache buffer.

The only form of NVRAM that I am aware of is:
 . battery supported CMOS
 . Flash memory

I can't use Flash memory (eg. NAND memory cards etc.) as they
have limited write-cycles.

In my case it is a serious problem, as the backend I have designed
has 1 - 4 Terabytes. So writing all the small writes through
Flash memory will hit write cycles or bad sectors in a finite time.

Having a non-volatile cache also provides the benefit of being able
to work through power cycle (ie. ups failed or power supply failed)
issues.

Any suggestions on possible NVRAMs that one could purchase ?

Thanks in advance.

thanks
Saifi.
