For OpenLDAP vs. Apache DS:

http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=33878

Also - from what I understand, OpenLDAP beats Apache DS on performance as it
currently stands.

However, ADS has advantages, being native Java that OpenLDAP cannot match.

A TSM on LDAP is good - but I figure more items in the periphery should also
be addressed such as:

- Single Sign-On strategies
- Securing Web Services (SOAP and REST strategies)
- User Provisioning Workflows

Zubin.
