Hey Sumit, iPods use a God forsaken format to store the mp3 files, hence copy pasting wont work I use Amarok/RhythmBox to synchronize my mp3s with my iPod Banshee should also work, apart from the ones you mentioned( I find GTKpod buggy) Most versions of iPod are known to work well with these programs and are detected immediately when you connect. But I should warn you that the implementation is not perfect, my iPod hangs sometimes -- Satish Vellanki
