There is no getting around the fact that when you are a fresher, all the big
companies see you
as a commodity and truth be told you are one. If one is to Survive/Thrive in
a time and place
when there is a commodity surplus one has to market themselves better. If
you place yourself in
the fresher pile your odds of getting picked or not are the same as anyone
else who is a fresher.
So look to position yourself in a market where the supply vs demand ratio
is more favourable.
As poorna said acquire relevant skill sets and differentiate yourself from
others and proactively
improve your chances of getting recruited as an individual that brings
something special to the
table rather than a replaceable resource.
