openSUSE 11.1 works absolutely fine and detects both the NIC and Wireless WiFi 802.11 card. Incidentally, this is a Atheros chipset based system. i booted the Aspire One D150 netbook using openSUSE 11.1 installed on a USB stick. This is a serious and must have machine for anybody considering a netbook that runs Linux properly. Asus eeePC is cheeeep and HP mini comes with a mega price. Now let me go and try FreeBSD/openBSD on this netbook. thanks Saifi.
