Well I found http://wareseeker.com/download/r-linux-data-recovery-1.0.rar/58225 that is FREE but takes care of only ext2fs. Anyway, give it a try and maybe it'll work for other formats as well. and it's for windows. So you'll have to buy an external casing, put your hard disc in the external casing and try recovering it from windows.
