Hi Anusha:

Step1: copy out all the important data from your disk

 . you have openSUSE 11.x DVD
 . boot up your laptop with openSUSE DVD
 . attach USB pen drive
 . copy the important directories from the windows side to USB
 . check and make sure, you copied all the data you need

Step2: laptop hardware specs

 . post the hardware configuration of your laptop
 . incase you don't know, please post the complete model number
   of the laptop.
 . we'll help you install Linux on it.

This way you'r data would have got restored and by installing
Linux you'd have got a permanent solution.
