You might also try the craft section in JoAnn's or places like AC Moore or other places that sell craft making supplies. I crocheted my own from string, making first a loose chain and then turning the flat side of the chain over and picking up the first hump at the back of the first chain and pulling each hump through the next to form a round cable wicking.
