Can anyone elucidate as to why BS shifted to 12 columns for responsive - and why quite a few responsive frameworks are also 12, rather than say 16 col.
My first responsive (and first BS) project had 16 columns, and while challenging in many ways (the original design wasn't responsive), I can't think of any issues stemming from using 16 cols as opposed to 12. I'm thinking hard about this before my next responsive project. Any thoughts?
