Thanks for the info Michael. I came across Joostrap who are charging people to buy a simple template (no sense in doing that when there's a big learning curve ahead). Big news was announced recently as well, as Joomla plans to integrate Bootstrap into the core for UI purposes. As far as finding a decent tutorial or introduction goes, I found one(after about 6 hours):
