Specifically, I haven't looked into this but I do know some accessible sites include a high contrast option (which I believe is an alt stylesheet), if in doubt, I'd try making the font darker and the background lighter and see if the same warning pops up. I know that's vague. Aside from the W3C standards, I bookmarked this accessibility evaluator<http://fae.cita.uiuc.edu/>a while back but I dunno if it includes color schemes.
