I know it's been a while for this post, but were you able to get the slider
to scroll smoothly?

I am using twitter bootstrap 2.2, jquery 1.8, and jQ-ui 1.9.2. My slider
shows up fine, and I have it hooked up to a number input, but it settles in
values 9, 10, and 100. The actual range is: min=1, max=100.

Thanks
