Hello James Welcome James, enjoy the ride!
I'm Renoir Boulanger, from Montreal, Québec, Canada. Native french speaker and an employee of the W3C as part of the Developer relations group and working on the WebPlatform.org project. As for my background; I'm a self-taught myself too, book junkie, and built a few pattern library prior to discover HTML5Boilerplate and OOCSS back in 2010, and Twitter Bootstrap in the (too) late 2011. Right after having built two big deployment projects with my own pattern libraries and had to run in front of my 6 people worth backend developer team mates. You might imagine how much I wished I discovered Twitter Bootstrap earlier. I generally reply to people when they have questions regarding the library although more than often it is related to basic CSS questions and I refer them back to other articles teaching proper techniques. As for other relevant lists that I am following that might be of interest to you: - object-oriented-css google group - Evolt 'the list' mailing list (http://lists.evolt.org/) If you want to learn about CSS and make you understand more about CSS. I strongly recommend you have a look at *webplatform.org*; a site sponsored by Adobe, Microsoft, Mozilla, facebook (and many others) that is vendor independent and is managed by people of the W3C. Hope my insight helped people around Regards, *Renoir Boulanger * | Developer operations engineer W3C* * | Web Platform Project <http://www.webplatform.org/> http://w3.org/people/#renoirb ✪ https://renoirboulanger.com/<https://renoirboulanger.com/#is> ✪ @renoirb <https://github.com/renoirb> ~ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "twitter-bootstrap" group.
