After today I am convinced that unless the person or persons vandalizing 
this group just decide to stop, the group will be useless. It is just not 
worth the trouble of paging through all the noise.

I suggest that one of the following be done:

   - The current Google Group be modified to require moderator approval of 
   each post. If this requires too much administration, then some folks that 
   have proven to be trustworthy should be added as moderators. I would rather 
   wait 1-2 days to have my question answered then have to see one more of 
   these bizarre posts.
   - A new Google Group be created, implementing the above policy.
   - Abandon Google Groups and use Stack Overflow. SO allows you to receive 
   email updates in a similar way to here
   - Abandon Google Groups and create a Reddit sub
   
I invite everyone on this thread (with a couple of obvious exceptions) to 
offer their input. It would be nice to have some of a consensus on what the 
best perceived alternative might be.
