I'm storing the data in a local database anyways, so I can just do a phrase search of my data and delete the records I don't need. More data than necessary gets transmitted from Twitter this way, but I guess there's no way around it -- and for me the end result is the same anyways -- so it looks like I can proceed successfully now.
