In r209 I've added xhtmls ("s" for "strict"):

I don't really understand all the version of xhtml, but afaik, xhtml 1.1 is  
much similar to xhtml 1.0 strict:

Some of my implementations are probably questionnable and everything is not  
perfert, so we can discuss about this here.

I suggest we keep at the moment the old xhtml transitional for not breaking  
everything, but in a later release we could make xhtmls the default for  
xhtml and the current xhtml transitional could become xhtmlt for example,  
for compatibility.
