It will bit-rot as well if it's added - if no configuration enables it
it will not even be compiled.

I recommend you keep it in your queue, and submit it again  with  the
board that will actually use it.

Every program has at least one bug and can be shortened by  at  least
one instruction - from which, by induction, one can deduce that every
program can be reduced to one instruction which doesn't work.
