As mentioned before: if ther eios no SRAM or other on-chip memory, we can lock the data cache, or parts of it. This has been done on other boards before. I think Marek has patches in his queue that implement this for PXA, so maybe these may be interesting for other ARM families as well. Marek, maybe you can post your stuff, even if preliminary?
