Hi,

I'm excited to see NVMe and USB support for RPi 5 in mainline U-Boot. I haven't
had the time to look closely into the code, but I took your patches for a spin:

U-Boot> pci enum
U-Boot> pci
BusDevFun VendorId DeviceId Device Class Sub-Class
_____________________________________________________________
00.00.00 0x14e4 0x2712 Bridge device 0x04
01.00.00 0x1d79 0x2263 Mass storage controller 0x08
02.09.07 0xffff 0xffff Does not fit any class 0xff
02.00.00 0x14e4 0x2712 Bridge device 0x04
03.00.00 0x1de4 0x0001 Network controller 0x00

PCIe controller seems to be working properly. This is also the state current
master is on. Trying NVMe:

U-Boot> nvme scan
Failed to probe 'nvme#0': err=-110

For comparison, here's output from my fork using U-Boot 2026.04 as a base:

U-Boot> nvme scan
U-Boot> nvme info
Device 0: Vendor: 0x1d79 Rev: V0804S3 Prod: H942820019
           Type: Hard Disk
           Capacity: 244198.3 MB = 238.4 GB (500118192 x 512)

USB can succesfully detect (and boot from) USB devices, though:

U-Boot> usb reset

For reference, here are the branches I used for testing:

Your patches applied onto the current master:
https://github.com/fkokosinski/u-boot/tree/rpi5-nvme-new

2026.04-based branch:
https://github.com/fkokosinski/u-boot/tree/rpi5-nvme

Please let me know if I could provide you with additional information w/r to
testing.

Best
