Haven't done it with Universe, but I've done it with other languages.  It's
getting harder to find "wedge" devices for serial terminals, but there's
still a few out there.  You'd probably have better luck finding hardware for
a PC than for a serial terminal.

Basically the way most of the sig capture devices work is that they capture
the signature as a series of vector points so that the signature can be
redrawn.  They capture it as a vector, rather than a raster image in order
to save on storage space.  A couple of hundred vector points take a LOT less
storage than a bitmap.

Has anyone implemented a signature capture solution using Universe ?  We are
in the initial stages of looking into capturing signatures.  Right now, all
of our cashiering terminals are plan dumb terms doing vt100 emulation.  I
would suppose that we would have to change hardware.  I wonder how the
signature could be stored within a Universe database.  Anyone been down this
road that can share some info ?
