Hi Troy,

There is an INTERNAL keyword that works with PORT.STATUS. Same deal as
LIST.READU in that it returns everything separated by a value mark.

It is detailed in the subroutine VMADMSUB.B in APP.PROGS. Look around
line 11800 and you can see how it counts the number of attributes to
tell you whether the user is a phantom, normal or other.

HTH

Subject: [U2] [UV] getting LISTU to show full user names or in raw
format

Running universe 10.0.17 on win 2003...

I'm trying to find out if anyone knows a way to get a raw listusers
listing.
Currently some of our user names are getting chopped with LISTU as shown
below.

:LISTU

These are the UniVerse users presently sharing the system.

uid User No User Name Terminal No Login Time
         -2 5148 DOMAINOFFICE\cjohnso telnet:5148 May 5 08:09
     263203 3672 DOMAIN\carnold telnet:3672 May 4 10:33

the cjohnson user name is being chopped in this example. For sake of
brevity, I'm not showing all of them, but many are being chopped more as
we
have several domains and longer user names. This data is used for
reverse
lookup for record locks via the status() command

There *is* an option to the list.readu command, 'internal' as in:

:LIST.READU EVERY INTERNAL

Is there a similar undocumented option for LISTU?

Thanks!
