I did some preliminary work in this area. There are some software products that tie up with Dialogic cards or alternatives that allow you to setup incoming and outgoing process with a drag and drop screen layouts. They usually have OLDDB or TCPIP sockets to tie to business logic. You can then from Universe write programs with a sockets interface, or a C++, VB, client interface with UniObjects. If there is some Web Work done, strongly consider RedBack as you could reuse some of the Web Login into the phone process.
