All the responses so far assume that field 2 of the VOC entry has the full file path, this isn't always the case.
Field 2 would just contain the file name if the file is local. And what about Q pointers? I think you'd be better off writing a program that selects all the files in the VOC (F1 LIKE F... Q...) and then opens each file, after that you can call FILEINFO(filevar,FINFO$PATHNAME) to return the full path for each file.
