Has anyone tested Windows XP SP2 with UniVerse and are they aware of any issues with UniObjects, Telnet, OleDB.
With SP2, Windows is switching off all the ports except 80 as part of the security initiative. I believe if a program with the user environmnet requests a port, it will open it and it will close it again after a brief period of inactivity. This may cause UniObjects to drop out if it has not been used after a while. The UniVerse Telnet session runs into problems with Microsofts firewall software in small business server and it is possible similar issues will occur with SP2.
