Platform: Sun V1280, Solaris 9, UniVerse 10.0.8. We currently have a file consisting of ten distributed files handling 250,000 transactions a day (approx. 60 million per year). Each part has 10 indexes.
Soon we shall be looking into increasing our transactions to 1,000,000 per day (approx. 240 million per year). Does anyone out there handle similar volumes or had experience with these volumes on UniVerse? Disk space is not an issue and any guidelines would be appreciated. Thanks.
