Been a very long time since I used it but I'd say the command line that is built by the * (ie select all files) is too big (guide file1 file2 file3 fiel4 etc)
Can't remember the exact unix syntax but under DOS you can do "For Each %F in (*.*) do guide %F -na -ns" That will run guide for each file in turn. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 26 August 2004 12:56 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [U2] Need some help with guide We had an unexpected system crash last night, and while running guide, we're getting errors we haven't seen before. elmer$ guide * -na -ns Command line is too long, max length is 8192 current length = 8209 Can anyone shed some light on what we're doing wrong here?
