If I had the flexibility to do I'd be happy to install my ED+ on every system out there but in most cases that's not an option. So, use the PC editors when I can, use AE when I can't, and drink heavily when done working on Universe (w/o AE). :-)

All the comforts of a windows based editor, but without the file-transfer hassles (permission OR slow modems). Plus I can modify it at whim to create short cuts that would be impossible any other way for special projects that have a lot of repetitious activity.
