Subject: [U2] documentation for programs in /UV/UV/BIN

Could someone please point me to documentation for the executables
contained in uv/uv/bin. I am using the touch.exe to create a file used
as a container for a tab-delimited file output by WRITESEQ. I thought
the touch command would recreate the file upon each execution, but have
discovered that I am overwriting the previous iteration of the file. If
the current output does not exceed the length of the previous iteration,
I end up with some of the data from the previous iteration "appended" to
the bottom of the current output. I would like to know if there is a
switch or usage of touch.exe that ensures I am starting each time with
an empty container.

Thanks for your assistance.
