This might be the long way but something like;

SELECT OP WITH @ID GT 'SOMEVALUE TO SELECT ALL BUT THE BAD REC' TO A
SELECT OP TO B
GET.LIST A TO 1
GET.LIST B TO 2
MERGE.LIST 2 DIFF 1 TO 0
SAVE.LIST C   ;*   should be just the bad record here
GET.LIST C
COPY FROM OP TO &HOLD& OVW DELETING

I looked at the file using EditPlus.  Of course, there are many special
characters that appear.

Suggestions would be appreciated.
