In the VOC file of any UniVerse account there's an item named RELLEVEL which will give you the release level of the database. Along the same lines, there's a 'dot' command that allows you to CT VOC ITEMNAME by just doing: .L RELLEVEL and that is case insensitive (in INFORMATION flavor, at least), so .l rellevel works the same.
