I really have no experience with AIX, but on Windows the password is no longer saved in the DSN for 10.1 and greater. I talked with IBM awhile back and they said they may allow it to be saved again on future versions.
When I create connections in VBScript, I have to specify the DSN & the password in the connection string.

I got a call from a client who upgraded to UV 10.1 on AIX and says that the ODBC client does not save nor seems to have an option to save the login password, though he can hack it in the registry.
I don't have access to this s/w today, so I'm wondering if this rings a bell with anyone on the list?
