First off. Thanks for the response. Next. We figured it out. We used an updated driver from our version 6.03??? Unidata disk instead of the 5.2??? Version that was on the old server. I think the numbers of the actual driver are not that different. But to make a long post shorter I'll just say the answer to the question is formatting. The date needs to be "2005-06-27" not "06-27-05" Why? I don't know. And do I care? Not all that much now that it works.
So the secret word of the day is International date format. So It's 3 words. So sue me. I'll return to lurking again. Thanks. But just not this oledb connection with parameters in a DTS package. Is there some trick to get this to work.
