Hey Joe, I've found that ZoneAlarm Pro works much better than just the ZoneAlarm. It's supposed to be for the professional that is using VPN, etc.
Otherwise, click on the Firewall tab, then select Main tab for that, then on the internet zone security, slide that down to 'Medium - Visible but protected mode:' and that might help. I can't use VPN at all unless I do this. I had been using ZoneAlarm Pro with no problems, and when it came time to renew, I decided to save a couple of bucks and go with just plain old ZoneAlarm.
