Thanks to someone whose message I deleted, I now know that (in Unidata, at
least), there are two ways to do this:
:ESEARCH filename
STRING : "
will get you all the records that have a double quote anywhere in the record.
:SELECT filename WITH EVAL 'COUNT(fieldname,CHAR(34))' GE 1
will get you all the records with a double quote in the field you're
interested in.
