Hello All, I visited a customer site the other day to find that our installation person has installed the Universe software on an AIX server but not done anything with the UVODBC. I get an error from the client driver that the daemon isn't running. I reported this to our installer and he pretty much left me to it claiming not to know anything about it. Nice.... My knowledge of installing Universe is limited to a couple of times on an NT server, so this is being dropped on me and I need some advice. Anyway, is anyone able to point me in the direction of information on this please or able to point out what could be wrong here. I have run the Config command and can see the UVODBC is installed and licensed, but the client still reports it not to be running.
