Here's what we came up with, just for fun: IF SUM(NOTS(NOTS(TRIMS(REPORT.DATA<2>)))) THEN CRT 'Not empty!'
The TRIM(CONVERT(...)) answer would work as well, I think. I don't want to change the value of the array-- if it's not empty, I need to print it. (UniData, BTW, sorry I didn't mention it.
