I have a number of times accidentally done reply to instead of reply all, it might be a matter of getting used to it, but I would say it does reduce discussion. However on the other side I do see the hundreds of emails that Larry and Chuck receive due to reject emails and bounces, which this method has reduced by about 75% of.
