This could be a router or firewall issue, I've seen similar where

1. blocking mode in HTTP (implicitly not explicitly due to HTTP 1.1
protocol).

2. Blocking mode was explicitly invoked on CallHTTP

3. Firewall or router limited concurrent connections from an IP address
(check proxies and see if it is different without the proxy)

4. If HTTPS - the security authority was single-threaded (local
certification)

Just in passing - also seen one issue where McAfee quarantined the security
certificate thinking it was a virus (signature march)

Hope it helps ....

Regards

JayJay

Subject: RE: [U2] HTTP Error

Not sure if you got a response to this (I didn't see one), but my
understanding is that a network error means that a socket connection
was originally successful, but before the transaction could be
completed the connection was dropped. When I've seen this error it
usually means the server dropped the connection when the client was
expecting a response, or there's a faulty piece of gear somewhere
between here and there.

We used to see this regularly with Paymentech; every now and again
their server would just stop behaving normally and once they reset the
port, it'd all come back fine. The conversation wasn not via http,
but the principle is still the same.

Subject: [U2] HTTP Error

Error in submitRequest: 2
The network subsystem has failed.

What is the meaning of this error message on an HTTP Call?
Does that refer to our network as opposed to the vendors network I'm
trying to retrieve the data from?

thanks,
