Hi,
Thanks for comments.
I run Universe under Linux and I try to use universe's replcation toolset.
Not the OS level.
Yes, I want to update data in real time (a light delay is ok) at the
Universe's level - record by record.
I you talk about Unidata's RFS and I'm looking for Data Replication.
Thanks
Manu

Replication does not mirror data - it only updates data -
I hear it working with Unix and RFS - with WNT there are still some
issue being worked out? What are you on?

Subject: [U2][UV]Replication - Maintenance
Hi,
I'm currently on the way to setup a replication procedure from a
linux/universe Server A to another linux/universe Server B.
When the service publisher and the servce subscriber are started, there
is two method to publilsh/subscribe a file.
1 - use unidamin GUI
2 - use new verb REPPUBLIST / REPSUBLIST .... from uv shell
The server I want to replicate run 19 accounts for a total of 24gb data.
Is there someone with experience to replicate a large system ?
- how to initiate it
- how to publish large volume
- how to subscribe large volume
- how to maintain it
I'll appreciate any comment/experience.
Thanks
Manu
